Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably, a bill entitled, an Act to repeal the Act
passed at January session, 1865, chapter 114. entitled, an
Act to repeal the 10th section of Article 11, of the Code of
Public General Laws, relating to the oath of Attorney's and
other practitioners of Law, and to enact a substitute therefor,
and to repeal the 10th seciion of the 11th Article of the Code
of Public General Laws, title Attorney's at Law, and Attor-
ney's in fact, sub-title Attorney's at Law, and to enact a sec-
tion in lieu of the said 10th section;
Which was read the first time.
Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to authorize
the Governor to appoint an additional Justice of the Peace,
for the fourth election district, in St. Mary's county;
Reported it without amendment.

change the name of William Brown, (colored) of Frederick
