300 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 21,

A bill entitled, an Act to extend the provisions of the Act
of January session, 1865, for the relict of certain parties for
payment therein mentioned ;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled, an Act to authorize the bequest of Cathe-
rine Seip, late of Baltimore city, to the Second German
Evangelical Lutheran Church, of the city of Baltimore ;'

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate Mount Moriah
Lodge, No. 116, Ancient Free and accepted Masons;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled, an Act to add a new article to the Code of
Public General Laws, to be entitled Public Roads;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled, an Act to provide for the running of the
Baltimore city Passenger Railway Cars, on Sunday, supple-
mentary to an Act to incorporate the Baltimore city Passen-
ger Railway Company, passed February 13th, 1862, chap-
ter 71;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

On motion by Mr, Earle.

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
report a bill to revise and amend an Act entitled, an Act to
incorporate the Queen Anne's and Kent county Rail Road
Company, passed on the eighth day of March, eighteen hun-
dred and fifty-six;

On motion by Mr. Tome,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to intro-
duce a bill to repeal part of an Act of 1864, chapter 15, and
amend the same relating to bounties of soldiers;

On motion by Mr. Billingslea,

The rules were suspended, and the bill entitled, an Act to
extend and continue in force the Charter of the Manchester
Savings Institution;

Was read the third time by special order, three-fourths
concurring, and passed by yeas and nays as follow;
