A bill entitled, an Act authorizing Theodore W. Baker to
build a bridge across King's creek in Somerset county;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled, an Act to pay Augustus Gassaway and
Robert Vinton Clayton, a sum of money for services rendered
in removing, rewrapping and rearraging papers and records
belonging to the office of the Clerk of the Court of Appeals of
Maryland;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

A bill entitled, an Act to authorize the Board of Trustees
of the McDonough Educational Fund and Institute, to locate
said Institute in Baltimore county, and to connect a farm
school therewith;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Education.

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Sassafras River
Steam Boat Company:

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Trustees of the
Baptist church at Jone's Mills in Dorchester county; '

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled, an Act to prohibit swine from running at
large in the Second Election District of Cecil county;

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Tome,
Brodwater and Philpot;

A bill entitled, an Act to repeal and re-enact the Act
entitled, an Act to revive the Act of incorporation of the
Town of Salisbury in Somerset and Worcester counties, chap-
ter 356, of Public Local Laws for Somerset county, and to
add new sections thereto, ratifying and confirming certain acts
of the commissioners of said town, and for other purposes;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate Wicomico Lodge No.
91 of Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons;
