enact the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Horsey,

Leave was granted the Queen Anne's and Caroline county
delegations to introduce a bill entitled, an Act to add a new
article to the Code of Public General Laws, to be entitled.
"Public Roads,"

On motion of Mr. Hooper,

Leave was granted the Select Committee to ' report a bill
entitled, an Act to amend the Act of Assembly of January
session, 1865, entitled, a supplement to an Act incorporating
the Baltimore City Passenger Railway Company.

On motion of Mr. Knott,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means
to introduce a bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 4 of Arti-
cle 81, relating to revenue and taxes, and to re-enact the same
with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Davis, of Baltimore city,

Leave was granted the Committee on Ways and Means to
report a bill entitled, an Act authorizing the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore, to issue bonds to the amount of $500,-
000 for the purchase of additional grounds to extend the wa-
ter works of said city.

On motion of Mr. Knott,

Leave was granted the Committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill to establish a New Court in Baltimore city and
to define the jurisdiction thereof.
On motion of Mr. Golibart,

Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to
report a bill entitled, an Act to amend the 1st and 2d sections
of the Act of 1860, chapter 348, entitled, an Act to incorpo-
rate the Merchant's Hotel Company of Baltimore city and to
add new sections thereto.

On motion of Mr. Nelson,

Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to re-
port a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the People's Fire
Insurance Company of Baltimore.
On motion of Mr. Bixler,

Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to re-
port a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Maryland Land
Company, for the purchase and improvement of lands in the
State of Maryland.

On motion of Mr. Israel,

Leave was granted the Committee on Ways and Means to
introduce a bill entitled, an Act to authorize the Mayor and
