come," and to re-enact the same;

Said bill being upon the second reading,

Mr. Ford proposed the following amendment:

Sec.1st, line 15, strike out the word "fifteen,' and insert
ten.

Mr. King proposed the following amendment:

Sect 1, line 5 'strike out the word fifteen, and insert twenty

Mr. Phelps proposed the following amendment:

To come in at the end of section one.

Provided, That the Levy above provided, shall be base
upon the Assessment Laws now in operation.

Pending the consideration of the amendment proposed by
Mr. Ford, the time having arrived for taking up the order of
the day.

The House took up for consideration the bill entitled, an
Act to incorporate the Frederick and Pennsylvania Line
Railroad Company,

Said bill being upon a third reading,
