On motion of Mr. Clarke,
The vote by which the bill was rejected was reconsidered,
and the bill made the order of the day for Tuesday, March
12th, at 12 1/2 o'clock P. M.
On motion of Mr. Thomas,
Chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means,
The bill entitled, an Act making appropriations for the
support of the Government for the year ending on the first
day of January, 1868,
Was considered and made the order of the day for Monday
March 11th, at one o'clock.
Also, the bill entitled, an Act to authorize the Board of
Public Works to vote the Stock of the State in the Chesa-
peake and Ohio Canal Company for a President and four
Directors, upon the nomination of the holders of the pre-
ferred bonds of said company,
"Was considered and made the order of the day for Tues-
day next, March 12th, at one o'clock.
Mr. Nelson, Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture,
reported the Senate bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 2
of Article 87 of the Code of Public General Laws relating to
sheep and dogs, and to enact the following sections in lieu
thereof, with proposed amendments :
Also, the Senate bill entitled, an Act to prevent the spread
of the disease called glanders in the State, with proposed
amendments,
Which were read a second time.
