Which were read and severally referred to Committee on
Pensions.

On motion of Mr. Ford,

Ordered, That it be tntered on the journal that Mr.
Shipley is absent on account of sickness in his family.

On motion of Mr. Spicer,

Ordered, That Simeon Spicer, Delegate from Harford, on
the 5th instant, voted for the bill entitled, an Act to author-
ize Acts of the Assembly, passed at the present session of the-
General Assembly, to be repealed and to make valid such
repeal, under a misapprehension of the character and intent
of the bill, and the House having refused to reconsider the
vote to enable him to record his vote correctly, he desires it
to be entered on the Journal that he is opposed to the pas-
sage of said bill, or any and all such system of legislation.

On motion of Mr. Gore,

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal that Mr. Gore,
in voting in the affirmative on the Police bill, passed by the
House yesterday, voted under a misapprehension, he then
believing that the Senate amendment had. not been receded
from.

On on of Mr. Evans,

Leave was granted the Committee on the Judiciary, to re-
port a bill entitled, an Act to add a new section to article 10
of. the code of public general laws entitled, "Attachments."

On motion Mr. McCulloh,

Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to report
a bill to incorporate the Miners', Mechanics' and Laborers'
Co-operative Stock Company of Frostburg, Allegany county,

On motion of Mr. Neale,

Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill to amend the charter of the Baltimore and Po-
tomac Railroad company.

On motion Mr. Brydon,

Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to re-
port a bill to incorporate the Westernport Mutual Bridge
Company;

On motion Mr. McCulloh,

Leave was granted the Committee on the Judiciary to re-
port a bill to amend the Act passed in 1793, chapter 43, and
1845, chapter 209, relating to landlord and tenant;
