Section 26, line 0, strike out all after the word "re-
moved."

Which was rejected.

Mr. Magruder proposed the following amendment:

In line 3 of section 11 strike out all after the word "shall"
and add the following :

"Notify the agent of the owner of such tobacco that coop-
erage is required, and the said agent, if in his judgement the
same shall be neccessary, shall have the same coopered at the
expense of the owner, charging therefor a sum not less than
twenty-five cents nor more than fifty cents for each hogshead
thus coopered.

Which was adopted.

The time having arrived for taking up the order the day,

On motion of Mr. Magruder,

The consideration thereof was postponed fifteen minutes.
Mr. Magruder proposed the following amendments:
In section 18, line 2, strike out 5 and insert 4.
In section 25, line 4, strike out the words "in addition to
other charges."

In section 26, line 1, between the words "shall" and "re-
main" insert the words "be sold by the grower or his agent

and."

Which were adopted.

Mr. Magruder proposed the following amendment:

At the end of section 27 add "provided that nothing in
this section shall apply to tobacco now sold and awaiting
shipment in the warehouses."

Which was adopted.

Also, proposed the following amendments:

In section 28 strike out the words "other warehouses and
any," in line one.

In section 51, line 1, strike out "once a month" and insert
"once in two months."

Which were adopted.

The bill, as amended, was then ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading, and,
On motion of Mr. Magruder,

The rules being suspended,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays
as follow:
