On motion of Mr. Jump,
Leave was granted the Talbot and Queen's Anne's county
delegations, to introduce a bill entitled, an Act to repeal an
Act entitled, an Act to authorize Mrs'. Margatet Sher-
wood, wife of Hugh Sherwood, of Talbot county, to close
a public road leading through his lands in said county,
passed at the January session of the General Assembly, 1864,
chapter 323,
On motion of Mr. Knott,
Leave was granted the Commitee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
section 19 of Article 26 of the Code of Public General Laws
in relation to corporations for selling, leasing and improving
land.
Also, leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary
to introduce a bill to legalize the 1st, 2d and 3d volumes of
the supplement to the Code of Public General Laws and
Public Local Laws heretofore published.
Also leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill authorizing the purchase of five
hundred copies of the Code of Public General Laws and Code
of Public Local Laws for the State Library.
On motion of Mr. Burche,
Leave was granted to the Montgomery and St. Mary's
delegation to introduce a bill to authorize Thomas Fawcett, a
Magistrate in Montgomery county, to hold the office of
United States Postmaster.
On Motion of Mr. Morgan,
Leave was granted to the Montgomery and St. Mary's
delegation to report a bill to amend Article sixty of the Code
of .Public General Laws entitled "Marriages" by adding
thereto an additional section.
On motion of Mr. Magruder,
Leave Was granted to the Prince Geoige's and diaries
County delegation to introduce a bill to annex an additional
section to Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws relat-
ing to Prince George's county.
On motion of Mr. Nicolai,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
report a bill to incorporate the Baltimore Sectional Dock
Company.
On motion of Mr. Goraueh,
Leave was granted for the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill incorporating the National Telegraphic Union
