hereby instructed to strike from the account of the printer to
this House, the charge for printing the report of the Super-
intendant of Public Instruction," that document not having
been furnished the House in time to be of any use to its mem-
bers at this session; that being the object of ordering its

printing
Which on motion of Mr. Boswell,

Was laid on the table.
On motion of Mr. Dawson,

Ordered, That John F. Dawson, have leave of absence
until Monday next;

On motion of Mr. Appleman,

Ordered, That Mr. Hoffhine, have leave of absence to visit
his home for a few days;

Mr. Davis, of Charles, Offered the following :
Ordered, That the Committee on printing, notify the Prin-
ter to this House, that if the report of the Superintendent of
"Public Instruction," is not furnished to the House on or
before the tenth instant, he will not be allowed for printing
the same, ai it can be of no use to the members after that
date;

Which on motion of Mr. Neilson,
Was laid on the table.
On motion of Mr. Ford,

Ordered, That the evening sessions of this House hereafter
to be held shall be set apart for the passage of local bills
or such general bills as will not excite discussion, and that
each member shall call up a bill in the regular roll call, and
that the rules shall be considered as suspended for the pur-
pose of giving such a bill all the readings necessary to put
such bill on its final passage.

Mr. Ford offered the following :

"Ordered, That Samuel W. Storm, recently appointed an
additional Committee Clerk to this House, shall be furnished
with such stationery as has been, already furnished to the
Committee Clerks of this House, which,

On motion of Mr. Jump,

Leave wai granted to introduce a bill to authorize the build-
ing of a bridge across the head of Town Creek at Oxford, in
Talbot county,
