citizens of Frederick county, asking for the repeal of the pro-
viso to section 4, of Article 81, of the Code of Public General
Laws, imposing a tax on Literary and Charitable Institu-
tions;

Also, a memorial of Columbus O. Donnell and Poole and
Hunt, in favor of exempting Literary and Charitable Insti-
tutions from taxation;

And asked to be discharged from the further consideration
of the same.

The report was concurred in, and the Committee dis-
charged.

Also, unfavorably on Joint Resolution, authorizing the
Treasurer to issue the bonds of the State to any parson who
desires to receive them in payment of Warrants of the Comp-
troller;

And asked to be discharged from further consideration of
the same;
