withdraw all opposition to the right of the Pittsburg and
Connellsville Railroad Company, to use and enjoy the fran-
chise of their charter;

Which was read and referred to Committee on Internal
Improvements.

The Speaker laid before the House the reply of the Presi-
dent, Visitors and Governor, of St. John's College, to an
order of the House;

On motion of Mr. Evans,
Was referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

On motion of Mr. Hall,

Leave was granted the Committee on Ways and Means to
introduce a bill to provide for the keeping of the Public money
which from time to time, may remain in the Treasury by
adding a new section to the ninety fourth Article of the Code
of Public General Laws, entitled Treasury;

On motion of Mr. Evans,

Leave was granted the Cecil county delegation to introduce
a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the head of Sassafras,
Warwick and Delaware line Railroad Company;

On motion of Mr. Steiner,

Leave was granted the Committee on Judiciary to intro-
duce an Act to repeal the .80th section of Article 26, of the
Code of Public General Laws, entitled, corporations, and re-
enact the same with amendments;

On motion of Mr. Neilson,

Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to re-
port a bill to incorporate the Baltimore Ship Yard Com-
pany;

Also, leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to
report a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate a society in the
city of Baltimore, to be styled the Independent Blacksmiths
Association of the city of Baltimore;
On motion of Mr. Clarke,

Leave was granted the Baltimore county delegation to in-
troduce a bill to authorize the County Commissioners of Bal-
timore county, to levy a county tax, to support the Public
Schools in said county;

On motion of Mr. Nicolai,
The rules being suspended,
Ordered, That Samuel W. Storm be appointed an addi-
