Mr. Evans proposed the following amendment:
Line 6, section 1, strike out "four" and insert "two."
In line 10, strike out "four" and insert "two."

Also, In line 4, 5th section, strike out "five" and insert
"ten," and strike out "second" and insert "third."

Which were adopted.

Mr. Shipiey proposed the following amendment:

Strike oat all after "until" in section 11, line 11 and in-
sert "he is fully satisfied that the name of such person has
been registered in the district or precinct to which he has re-
moved;

Which was adopted.

Mr. Evans proposed the following amendment:

12th section, 13th line, strike but "two and insert "one."

Also, in the 15th line of the 12th section, strike out all
after the word "paid till end of section."

Also, 13th section, 13th line, strike out "two" insert "one.'

Also, 13th section, 15th line, strike out all after word paid.

Also, 14th section, 9th line, strike out "two" insert "one."

Also, in line 11, strike out all after the word "aggrieved;"

Which were severally read and adopted.

Mr. Gorsuch proposed the following amendment.

Strike out all after the word "Constitution" in 25th line
of section one;

Which was rejected.

Mr. Evans proposed the following amendment;

End of 1st line, 6th section, strike out "second," insert
"third."

Which was adopted.
Mr. Magruder proposed the following amendment :

In line 20, section 1, after the word "duties," insert "to be
paid by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, and the
County Commissioners of the several counties of this State."

Which was adopted.

The bill as amended,

Was then read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Mr. Evans moved a suspension of the rules to put the bill
upon its passage,
