Pending the consideration of which,
On motion of Mr. Evans,
A call of the House was ordered,
The following members responded to their names:

Buhrman, Baker, Linthicum, Gorsuch, Steiner, Bamford,
Tobey, Hoffhine, Bishop, Hutton, Burche, Coleman, Neilson,
Smith, Robson, Israel, Knott, Lankford., Stevens, Thomson,
Davii, of Baltimore city, Waltemeyer, Feig, Pitts, Bixler,
Gordy, Nelson, Whiteford, Wilson, Spicer, McCulley, Bruce,
McCulloh, Brydon, Camichael, Neale, Poole Or is well, Daw-
son, King, Hammond—6T.
Upon the call of the roll Mr. Evans moved that the Ser-
geant-at-Arms be sent after the absent members.
Mr. Clarke moved as a substitute for the motion of Mr.
Evans, that the Doorkeeper be sent after the absent members;
Which was not sustained.
The question then recurring upon the motion of Mr. Evans;
It was sustained.
And the Sergeant-at-Arms was ordered to notify the absent
members to give their attendance.
After some time the Sergeant-at-Arms returned and re-
ported that he had notified the absent members as ordered,
and had brought them before the bar of the House.
On motion of Mr. Evans,
All further proceedings under the call were dispensed with.
The question then recurring upon the motion of Mr. Evans,
The rules were suspended,
Three-fourths of all the members concurring,
And the bill read a third time by special order and passed
by yeas and nays as follow:
