On motion of Mr. Magruder,
The rules being considered as further suspended,

Ordered, That the Public Printer be requested to prevent
any person or persons from inspecting any bill or bills at any
time the same may be in his possession, except members and
officers of either branch of the Legislature.

Mr. Thomas, Chairman of the Committee on Ways and
Means, reported favorably a bill entitled, an Act to amend
sections 6 and 7 of Article 56 of the Code of Public General
Laws, relating to licences on billiard tables.

Also, a bill entitled, an Act repealing the charter of the
Union Rosine Association of Baltimore city, and authorizing
the transfer of all its rights, immunities and property to the
Maryland Industrial School for Girls.

Also, a bill entitled, an Act supplementary to an Act en-
titled, an Act to provide for the general valuation and assess-
ment of property in this State, passed at the extra session of
the General Assembly in 1866, chapter 157;

Which were severally read a first time.

Also, unfavorably upon the leave to introduce a bill to re- .
peal and re-enact sections 49 and 74 of Article 81 of Code of
Public General Laws.

Also, reported back the petition of citizens of Middletown
Frederick county, praying the passage of an Act taxing citi-
zens of Pennsylvania trading in this State, and asked to be
discharged from the further consideration of the same, aa in
Act for relief prayed for having passed the House of Dele-
gates;

Which was concurred in and the committee discharged.
