THURSDAY, February 28, 1867.

The House met and was opened with prayer by the Rev.
Mr. Leach.

Present at the call of the roll the following members:

Messrs. Miller, Speaker, Morgan, Beck, Welch, Hall, Wil-
liams, Clarke, Cameron, Hutchins, Ford, Shipley, Nicolai,
Davis, of Charles, Thomas, Jones, Dennis, Parsons Phelps,
Kerr., Evans, Golibart, Whitaker, Lindsey, Magruder, Oal-
vert, Rouzer, Buhman, Baker, Linthicum, Gorsuch, Steiner,
Bamford, Appleman, Uobey, Hoffhine, Bishop, Button,
Burche, Turner, Coleman, Neilson, Smith, Robson, Hooper,
Israel, Stevens, Boswell, Thompson,Davis, of Baltimore city,
Waltemeyer, Feig, Bixler, Pitts, Aydelott, Gordy, Nelson,
Whiteford, Wilson, Spicer, McCulley, Bruce, McCullbh,
Brydon, Carmichael, Neale, Poole, Criswell, Gore, Dawson,

The Speaker laid before the House the following report- of
W, J. Leonard, Esq., Comptroller of the Treasury, in re-
sponse to an order of the House :

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.

On motion of Mr. Evans,

The Cecil and Harford Boom Bill was called up and or-
dered to be printed.

Mr. Wilson presented the petition, of Mrs. Francis Wim-
satt and Mrs. Ellen Wimsatt, of the city of Baltimore wi-
dows of soldiers of the war of 1812, praying that the Legis-
lature grant them a'pension, they being old and unable to
support themselves;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pensions.

Mr. Evans presented the petition of Thomas P. Jones, and
others of Cecil county, against any alteration of the Sabbath
Law;

Which was read and referred to Select Committee on Sun-
day Law.

Mr. Shipley presented a petition of 150 citizens of Balti-
more and Carroll counties, praying for an Act authorizing
the Commissioners of said counties, to build a bridge overdue
Patapsco Falls, where the Lime Kiln road crosses said falls.

Which was read and referred to the Baltimore and Carroll
county delegations.
