The Secretary of the Senate delivered the bill entitled, an
Act to incorporate the Cecil and Harford county Boom Com-
pany;

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Corporations.

Also, the bill entitled, an Act appropriating the sum of
sixty-one dollars and nineteen cents, to pay the costs recov-
erable from the State by the appellees in the cases of the State
of Maryland vs. John Hartley, surviving obligor of James
Twig, and others, and State of Maryland vs. Jonathan Hen-
drickson and others, said cases being appeals from Circuit
Court of Allegany county;

Also, the bill entitled, an Act to refund a sum of money
erroneously paid into the State Treasury by William D. Bowie,
Jr., in the year 1866, on account of storage of tobacco;

Also, the bill entitled, an Act to authorize and direct pay-
ment of claims due the members and officers of the General
Assembly of 1861;

Which were severally read a first time and referred to the
Committee on Claims.
