from Hyallstown to Barnesville, Montgomery county;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Roads
and Highways.

Mr. Brydon presented a petition of Wm. H. Miller, Henry
Hurshman and others, of Allegany county, praying that the
commissioners of said county be authorized to appropriate a
sum of money for bridge purposes, &c.;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Inter-
nal Improvement.

Mr. Baker presented a petition from Dr. Thomas Sim and
thirty other citizens of Frederick county, for an asylum for
the Deaf and Dnmb, near Frederick city;

Which was read and referred to a Select Committee on
that subject.

Mr. Spicer presented a petition of Henry C. Amos and 57
citizens of Harford and Baltimore counties, praying a pas-
sage of a bill authorizing the County Commissioners of Har-
ford and Baltimore counties to levy a sum of money to con-
struct a bridge across the Little Gunpowder Falls;

Which was read and referred to the Baltimore and Har-
ford county delegations.

Mr. Neilson, presented a memorial of 300 citizens of Balti-
more in favor of the modification of the present Sunday Law.

Also, a petition of 200 citizens of Baltimore, praying a
modification of the Sunday Law.

Anne's county delegation.

Mr. Whitaker presented the petition of Andrew Nickle and
61 others of Cecil county, against the Cecil and Harford
county Boom Bill;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Cor-
porations.
