The fourteenth rule was then read and adopted.
The fifteenth rule was then read and adopted.
The sixteenth rule was then read and adopted.
The seventeenth rule was then read and adopted.
The eighteenth rule was then read and adopted.

Mr. Stephenson submitted the following amendment to
rule nineteenth :

Amend after the word "chair," in third line, and insert "but
such substitution shall not extend beyond an adjournment;"

Determined in the affirmative.

Mr. Stephenson also submitted the following amendment to
rule nineteenth :

Also, after the word "chair," in thirteenth line, insert "but
such substitution shall not extend beyond an adjournment;"

The nineteeth rule as amended was adopted.

The President of the Senate moved a reconsideration of the
vote on the adoption of the nineteenth rule ;

Determined in the affirmative.

The President of the Senate then submitted the following
as an amendment to the nineteenth rule :

After the word "floor" tenth line, insert "on said ap-
peal ;"

Determined in the negative.

The nineteenth rule was then adopted.

The twentieth rule was then read and adopted.

The twenty-first rule was then read and adopted.

Mr. Vickers submitted the following amendment to rule
twenty-second:

Strike out the word "Senate," and insert "members pres-
ent ;"

The twenty-second rule was then read and adopted.
The twenty-third rule was then read and adopted.
The twenty-fourth rule was then read and adopted.
The the twenty-fifth rule was then read and adopted.
The twenty-sixth rule was then read and adopted.
The twenty-seventh rule was then read and adopted.
The twenty-eighth rule waa then read and adopted.
The twenty-ninth rule was then read and adopted.
The thirtieth rule was then read and adopted.
The thirty-first rule was then read and adopted.
