Leave was granted to the Worcester delegation to report a
bill to incorporate the Atlantic Hotel Company of Berlin,
Worcester county.
Also, leave was granted to the Worcester and Somerset
delegation to report a bill entitled, a supplement to the Act
passed January session, 1864, chapter 116, entitled, an Act
to revise and extend an Act to incorporate the Wicomico and
Pocomoke Railroad Company, with amendments passed at the
December session, 1847.
On motion of Mr. Robson,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
report a bill to change the name of May Elizabeth Lewis to
May Elizabeth Yong.
On motion of Mr. Stevens,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to re-
port a bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Board of Foreign
Missions of the First United Presbyterian Congregation of
the city of Baltimore, State of Maryland.
On motion of Mr. Williams,
Leave was asked to introduce a bill entitled, an Act suple-
mentary to the Act passed February 11, 1846, relating to the
School Fund of Calvert county.
On motion of Mr. Carmichael.
Leave was granted to the Queen Anne's and Kent County
delegation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize the
County Commissioners of Queen Anne's county to subscribe
in behalf of said county to the capital stock of the Queen
Anne's and Kent County Railroad Company, and to repeal
chapter 165 of the laws passed at January session, 1866.
Mr. Nicolai, Charman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably a bill entitled an Act to amend and re-
enact section two of chapter 67 of the Act of 1866, en-
titled an act to incorporate the Plum Point Wharf Company
of Calvert county.
Mr. Carmichael, Chairman of the Committee on the Judi-
ciary, reported favorably a bill entitled an Act to repeal and
re-enact, with amendment, sub-section 46 of chapter 199 of
Laws of Maryland, passed at January session, 1864, entitled
an Act to amend and re-enact sections 23 and 46 of Article
81 of the Code of Public General Laws entitled, "Revenue
and Taxes."
Also, a bill entitled an Act to change the name of John
Francis Stack, of Caroline county, to John Rumbold Stack.
Also, a bill entitled an Act to regulate the carriage of bag-
