The House resumed the consideration of the bill entitled,
an Act to repeal Article 63 Code of Public General Laws re-
lating to militia, and sections 652 to 770, both inclusive of
Article 4 Code of Public Local Laws, relating to militia in
the city of Baltimore and to re-enact said Article 63 with
amendments.

The question being on the motion of Mr. Knott to recon-
sider the vote by which the amendment proposed by Mr.
Calvert was adopted;

Pending the consideration of which,

On motion of Mr. Calvert,
A call of the House was ordered, and
The following members responded to their names:

Messrs. Miller, Speaker, Morgan, Welch, Clarke, Cameron,
Hutchins, Ford, Shipley, Nicblai, Davis, of Charles, Jump,
Jones, Kerr, Witaker, Lindsey, Calvert, Rouzer, Baker, Gor-
such, Steioer, Bamford, Tobey, Hoffhine, Bishop, Turner,
Coleman, Neilson, Flaherty, Bobson, Hooper, Israet, Knott,
Kraft, Boswell, Waltemeyer, Feig, Bixler, Pitts, Aydelott,
Gordy, Wilson, Spieer, McCulley, Bruce, McCulloh, Neale,
Wampler, Gore, Dawson, King, Hammond—45.

On motion of Mr. Gore,

The Sargeant-at-Arms was ordered to notify the absent
members to give their attendance and to bring them before
the bar of the House.

After some time the Sargeant-at-Arms returned and re-
ported that he had brought before the bar of the House all
the absent members now in the city.

On motion of Mr. King,
All further proceedings under the call were dispensed with,

The question then recurring upon the motion of Mr. Knott
to reconsider the vote by which the resolution proposed by
Mr. Calvert was adopted.

The yeas and nays were ordered and appeared as follow :
