Also, delivered the bill entitled, an Act to appropriate fif-
teen thousand dollars to the House of Refuge in the city of
Baltimore, to aid in meeting the current expenses, and the
further sum of ten thousand dollars to be applied to the erec-
tion of a wing to their present building ;

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Ways and Means.

Also, a bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 99 of Article
30 of the Code of Public General Laws, title, "Crimes and
Punishments," sub-title, "Larceny," and to re-enact the
same with an amendment;

Also, a bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 92 of Arti-
cle 30 of the Code or Public General Laws, title, "Crimes
and Punishments," sub-title, "Kidnapping,"

Also, a bill entitled, an Act to repeal an Act passed at
January session, 1864, chapter 105, entitled, an Act to repeal
sections 42 and 43 of Article 66 of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, relating to manumission, and to enact a substitute
therefor providing for the manumission of slaves, and also to
repeal sections 42 and 43 of Article 67 of the Code of
Public General Laws, title, "Negroes," and sub-title, "Free
Negroes" and "Manumission."

Also, a bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 34 of Article
30 of the Code of Public General Laws, title, "Crimes and
Punishments," sub-title, "Counterfeiting and Forgery," and
relating to inspected and uninspected tobacco, and to re-enact
the same with an amendment.

Also, Senate bill entitled, an Act to make valid certain be-
quests under the will of Eleanor G. Scott, late of Baltimore
city, deceased;

Also, a bill entitled, an Act to repeal sections 87, 88 and
89 of Article 14 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Kent
county, title "Drovers;"

Also, a bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 152, of the
30th Article of the Code of Public General Laws, title,
"Crimes and Punishments," sub-title, "Fornication with
Negroes/' and to re-enact the same with amendments;
