On motion of Mr. Bruce,

Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to report
a bill to incorporate the George's Creek Valley Lodge No. 16
Independent Order of Good Templars of Allegany county ;

On motion of Mr. Pitts,

Leave was granted the Committee on Internal Improve-
ments to report a bill to amend sections one and two of the
Act passed at January session, 1867, entitled, an Act to
secure the completion of the Wicomico and Pocomoke Rail-
road, and re-enact the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Devecmon,

Leave was granted the Committee on the Judiciary to re-
port a bill entitled, an Act to amend and re-enact the 17th
and 19th sections of Article 38 of the Code of Public General
Laws, relating to the fees of Justices of the Peace ;

Also, leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to
report a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Mutual Coal
Company ;

Also, leave was granted Allegany County delegation to
report a bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 23 of the 1st
Article of the Code of Public Local Laws relating to Alle-
gany county, as amended and re-enacted by the Act of 1864,
chapter 121, section 1, and to amend and re-enact said
section ;

Also, leave was granted the Committee on the Judiciary
to report a bill entitled, an Act to repeal sections 41 and 42
of Article 51 of the Code of Public General Laws relating to
attachments before Justices of the Peace, and to re-enact the
same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Flaherty,

Leave was granted Committee on Claims to introduce a bill
to refund to Francis Cashmeyer, of Baltimore city, a sum of
money erroneously paid into the State Treasury.

Mr. Lankford, (the Rules being suspended,) presented the
remonstrance of 400 shoe manufacturers against the change
of licences of peddlers ;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.

Mr. Nicolai, Chairman of Committee on Corporations, re-
ported without amendment the Senate bill entitled, an Act to
