414 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS Feb. 15,

Also, ordered, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be
requested to inform this House what amount (if any) of the
seven thousand eight hundred and thirty-three dollars and
fifty-nine cents due by the Inspectors of Tobacco for the
quarter ending September 30th, 1866, has been paid.

On motion of Mr. Thomson,

Ordered, That when this House adjourns to-day, it stands
adjourned till Monday at 12 o'clock.

On motion of Mr. Neale,

Ordered, That Mr. Button have leave of absence for a few
clays to visit his family.

On motion of Mr. Nicolai,

Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to re-
port a bill to incorporate the " House of the Good Shepherd,"
in the city of Baltimore.

On motion of Mr. Baker,

Leave was granted the Frederick and Carroll County dele-
gations to introduce a bill to authorize the construction of a
public road from the Factory road, in Frederick county, to
the junction of the Gillis road in Carroll county.

On motion of Mr. Neilson,

Leave was granted the Committee on the Judiciary to
present a bill changing the name of Charles Wagoner to
Gottleib Francis Keim.

On motion of Mr. McCulloh,

Leave was granted the Committee on Claims to report a
bill for the relief of Joseph Logsdou of E., late Collector of
Allegany county, for taxes erroneously paid the State of
Maryland.

On motion of Mr. Benton,

Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to report
a bill to incorporate the New Windsor Library Company in
Carroll county.

OB motion of Mr. Appleman,

Leave was granted the Washington County delegation to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Hagerstown Water Com-
pany.

Also, leave was granted the Committee on Claims to report
a bill to compensate E. W. Curiden for printing the laws of
1865.

On motion of Mr. Beck,
