Was reconsidered,

The hour having arrived for taking up the order of the day,

Being the majority and minority reports of the Committee
on Elections,

On motion of Mr. Burche,
The consideration thereof was postponed for ten minutes.

The House then resumed the consideration of the bill en-
titled, an Act to repeal the Act of 1866, chapter 93, relating
to a patent for a tract of land in Allegany county called "St.
Barts;"

Which was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays

on Education.

Mr. Clarke, from Select Committee reported favorably a bill
entitled, an Act to release to William Watson and Thomas
Watson, all the right and interest of the State of Maryland,
in and to the personal estate of Michael M. Mitchell, late of
Baltimore county, deceased;
