the Pennsylvania Mutual Horse Thief Detecting and Insur-
ance Company, of York, Pennsylvania, to transact business
n the State of Maryland ;

Mr. Young moved to strike out the enacting clause of the
bill.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill, entitled an Act, to authorize
Nicholas Hammond, administrator of Nicholas H. Green,
late clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel county, to
complete the unfinished records and business in said office,
and to collect the fees due to said Green :

Reported it without amendment,
The bill was then read a second time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to authorize
Grayson Eichelberger, State Bounty Commissioner of Fred-
erick county, to pay to Ezra S. Karns, administrator of
Thomas E. Karns, certain bounty;

to which was referred the bill entitled an Act, to provide for
copying two dockets in the Register's Office of Montgomery
county;

to which was referred the bill, entitled an Act, to authorize
the Committee of the Presbyterian Congregation of Pitt's
Creek, in Worcester county, to sell and convey certain real
estate in said county, and to re-invest the proceeds of sale;

to which was referred the bill, entitled an Act, to prevent the
selling or peddling of carriages, hacks, wagons, &c., in Wash-
ington county without license;
