Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to authorize
the County Commissioners of Worcester county to sell and
convey a certain lot or parcel of ground in Newtown;

Reported it without amendment;
The bill was then read a second time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act supplementary
to the Act of 1866, chapter 24, entitled, an Act to authorize
the Commissioners of the town of Havre-de-Grace to sell a
certain lot in said town ;

Reported it without amendment.

Mr. Tome submitted the following amendment:

Section 3, line 6, strike out after the words "for the," and
insert "to be applied for building public school houses in the
town of Hovre-de-Grace;

The question upoii the adoption of the amendment, was
