the Code of Public Local Laws, of Allegany county, relating
to superintendent of the National Road;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Nelson, from the Select Committee, reported favorably
without amendment, the Senate bill entitled, an Act to pro-
tect fish and wild fowl in the waters of Romney Creek, in
Harford county;

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Calvert, from the Select Committee, reported favorably
a bill entitled, an Act authorizing the County Commissioners
of Prince George's county, to dispose of the present alms
house, and to purchase or build another;

Which was read the first time.

The bill entitled, an Act to repeal sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,10,
11 and 12, of chapter 37, of the Acts of Assembly of January
Session, 1866, entitled, an Act to encourage and facilitate
immigration to the State of Maryland, and enact other sec-
tions in the place of/the sections so repealed,

Being upon its second reading,
On motion of Mr. Hammond,
Was postponed until Friday, the 15th inst.

The bill entitled, an Act to repeal sections 1, 2 and 3, of.
chapter 43, of laws passed at January session, 1862, entitled,
wild fowl, and to re-enact the same with amendments;

Was read the second time.

The hour having arrived for taking up the order of the day,
being,

The bill authorizing the Baltimore City Passenger Railway
Company to run their Cars on Sunday;

On motion of Mr. Neilson,

The further consideration thereof, was postponed until Fri-
day next, the 15th inst.

The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Frostburg Ho-
tel Company, of Frostburg;

Was read the second time.
On motion of Mr. Smith,
The rules were suspended, and
The House took up for consideration,

The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the St. George's
Society, of Baltimore;

Said bill being upon its third reading,
Was then read the third time, and
