bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Si. George's Society
in Baltimore;
Which was read a second time.

Mr. Thomas, Chairman of the Committee on Ways and
Means, reported favorably a bill entitled, an Act for the re-
lief of Richard C. Hardesty, Administrator of Geo. W. Sher-
wood, deceased, late clerk of the Circuit Ceurt for Baltimore
city;

Which was read a first time.

Mr. McCulloh, Chairman of the Committee on Roads and
Highways, icported unfavorably the bill entitled, an Act re-
lating to the opening of Public Roads, and the construction
and repairing of Bridges on the same throughout the State;

Mr. Whiteford, from a Select Committee, reported favora-
blp a bill entitled, an Act to authorize Benjamin Norris and
Elizabeth Norris, his wife, to convey, by deed, a tract of land
to the party therein mentioned;

Which was read a first time, and,
On motion of Mr. Whiteford,

(Three-fourths of all the members being present and vot-

ing)

The bill was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

On motion of Mr. Whiteford,

The Rules were further suspended, and the bill read a third
time and passed by yeas and nays as follow :
