Constitution and form of Government for the State of Mary-
land;

Said bill being upon its third reading,
On motion of Mr. Carmiehael,

A call of the House was ordered and the following mem-
bers responded to their names:

Messrs Miller, (Speaker,) Morgan, Beck, Welch, Hall,
Williams, Clarke, Cameron, Hutchins, Ford, Shipley, Nico-
lai, Davis, of Charles, Thomas, Jump, Jones, Dennis, Par-
sons, Phelps, Kerr, Evan, Whitaker, Lindsey, Magruder,
Calvert, Rouzer, Buhrman, Baker, Linthicum, Gorsuch,
Steiner, Bamford, Appleman, Tobey, Hoffhine, Bishop, Httt-
ton, Burehe, Coleman, Neilson, Smith, Flaherty, Robson,
Hooper, Israel, Knott, Lankford, Kraft, Boswell, Thomson,
Waltemeyer, Pitts, Aydelott, Gordy, Nelson, Wilson, Spicer,
McCulley, Haller, Bruce, McCulloh, Carmiehael, Neale, Ben-
ton, Poole, Gore, Dawson, Horsey, King, Hammond—70.

On motion of Mr. Phelps,

The Sergeant-at-Arms was ordered to notify the absent
members and bring them before the bar of the House.

After some time the Sergeant-at-Arms returned and re-
ported that he had brought before the House all the absent
members now in the city, when,

On motion of Mr. Boswell,

All further proceedings under the call were dispensed with.
The said bill was then read a third time.
Mr. Ford moved the previous question;
Which was sustained.
The question then being,
"Shall the previous question be sow put,"
It was decided in the affirmative.

The question then recurred upon the passage of the bill;
And the bill passed by yeas and nays as follow:
