Which, was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

Also, the following House bills :

A bill entitled, an Act to secure the completion of the Wi-
comico and Pocomoke Railroad ;

A bill entitled, an Act for the relief of the Grand Lodge
of Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of Maryland ;
Severally endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."
On motion of Mr. Phelps,

Leave was granted Dorchester and Caroline County dele-
gations to report a bill to extend the time allowed the citizens
ot Port New Market, in Dorchester county, under the Act of
1860, chapter 311, to organize their incorporation by the
election of officers.

On motion of Mr. Feig,

Leave was granted Committee on Inspections to present a
bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 494 of article 4, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, relating to the measurement of
oysters in Baltimore city, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

On motion of Mr. Smith,

Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to intro-
duce a bill to incorporate an institution in the city of Balti-
more to be called " The Bank of Collateral Deposits'"

On motion of Mr. Davis, of Baltimore city,

Leave was granted the Committee on the Judiciary, to in-
troduce a bill to repeal section 10, of article 26, of the Code
of Public General Laws entirled, "Corporations," and re-
enact the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Coleman,

Leave was granted the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to provide for the liquidation and settlement
of arrears of pay due to the officers and men of the police
force appointed and organized under the Act of 1860, chap-
ter seven.

On motion of Mr. Ford,

Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to
bring in a bill to incorporate the United States Real Estate,
Mining and Manufacturing Company of Maryland.

On motion of Mr. Hutchins,

Leave was granted Committee on Corporations to bring in
a bill to amend the charter of the Baltimore and Hampden
Passenger Railway Company.
