The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Ashland Iron
Company, of Baltimore county ;

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

On motion of Mr. Hammond,
The rules being suspended;

Ordered, That the Committee on Hay Scales, be excused
from attendance in this house, for the purpose of visiting
Baltimore for one day of the next week.

The bill entitled, a supplement to an Act to incorporate
the Hillen Road Company of Baltimore county, passed at
January session, 1854, chapter ninety-nine, and a supplement
thereto passed at January session, 1851 ;

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate Slaughter's Steam-
boat company;

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Monumental
Hotel Company ;

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

Mr. Gore moved a call of the House;
Which was not sustained.

The bill entitled, an Act for the benefit of the Library
Company of the Baltimore bar ;
Wat read a second time, and

On motion of Mr. Ford,
Was referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

The bill entitled, an Act to change the name of Fanny
Hyde Beach, to that of Fanny Tabb Brewer ;

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled, an Act exempting from execution and
other final process of law (except distress for rent,) property
in the State of Maryland, to the value of $500.

Was read a second time and recommitted to the Committee
on the Judiciaty.

The bill entitled, an Act to farther extend the time and
provisions of the Act passed February 6th, 1864, chapter 15,
and March 14th, 1864, chapter 373, relating to the payment
of bounties to volunteers and drafted men of this State;
