The Speaker laid before the House the Report of the Clerk
of the Circuit Court of Baltimore city in response to an order
of the House as to the terms and number of days of session
of said Court.
On motion of Mr. McCulloh,
Leave was granted Committee on Roads and Highways to
report a bill to repeal the one hundred and seventh section of
article one of the Code of Public Local Laws for Allegany
county, relating to the Superintendent of the National Road,
as re-enacted by the Act of eighteen hundred and sixty-four,
chapter sixty-four, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments thereto.
On motion of Mr. Flaherty,
Leave was granted the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to repeal section 3 article 85, of the Code of
Public General Laws entitled, "Seamen."
On motion of Mr. Burche,
Leave was granted Montgomery and St. Mary's County
delegation to introduce a bill to appoint an additional magis-
trate in the Fourth Election District of Montgomery county.
On motion of Mr. Morgan,
Leave was granted St. Mary's and Montgomery County
delegation to report a bill to appoint an additional magistrate
in the Fourth Election District of St. Mary's county.
On motion of Mr. Clarke,
Leave was granted Committee on Corporations to report a
a bill entitled, an Act to amend an Act entitled, " an Act to
incorporate the Safe Deposit Company of Baltimore."
On motion of Mr. Welch,
Leave was granted Kent and Queen Anne's County dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled, an Act to amend an Act
passed January session, 1867, entitled, an Act to incorporate
the Chester River Steamboat Company.
On motion of Mr. McCulloh,
Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to report
a bill to incorporate the Live Stock and Fire Insurance Com-
pany of Maryland.
