Mr. Bowie presented the memorial of Walter S. Travers
find 88 citizens of Baltimore, against any change in the char-
ter of the Baltimore and Potomac Rail Road Company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Internal
Improvements.

Mr. Bowie presented the memorial of Jas. P. Poulton and
others of Baltimore, against any change in the charter of the
Baltimore and Potomac Rail Road Company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Internal
Improvements.

Mr. Bowie presented the memorial of Stephen B. Heath,
Jr., Richard Con tee and sundry ladies of Prince George's
county, against any change in the charter of the Baltimore
and Potomac Rail Road Company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Internal
Improvements.

Mr. Vickers presented the petition of Thomas E. Talbot
and 22 other citizens of Queen Anne's county, for a law to
protect fish and wild fowls in Chester River and its tributa-
taries ;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings.

On motion by Mr. Waters,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Waters, Mackall and Bod-
water, to introduce a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the
town of Princes Anne, in Somerset county, Maryland.

On motion by Mr. Tome,

Leave was granted to Committee on Judicial Proceedings to
introduce a bill to secure the completion of the Philadelphia
and Baltimore Central Rail Road Company, by the Philadel-
phia and Baltimore Central Rail Road Company.

On motion by Mr. Vickers,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introdnce a bill to incorporate the Washington Temperance
and Library Association of Baltimore.

On motion by Mr. Vickers,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill to release Herman A. Smith, one of
the sureties of Nathaniel Hickman, late Register of Wills of
Baltimore city, from the judgment of the State against Na-
thaniel Hickman and sureties in the Superior Court of Balti-
more city.

On motion by Mr. Vickers,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
