Mr. Phelps, from a Select Committee, reported favorably
the bill entitled, an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Dorchester county, to aid in the completion of the
Dorchester and Delaware Rail Road.

Mr. Hall, from a Select Committee, reported favorably a
bill entitled, an Act to repeal the twenty-seventh, twenty-
eighth and twenty-ninth sections of the second Article of the
Code of Public Local Laws, and to enact another section in
lieu thereof, relating to the sale of spirituous liquors to the
paupers at the Alms House, in Anne Arundel county.

Mr. Lindsay, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
a bill entitled an Act, to incorporate the President and Com-
missioners of the Town of Warwick.

Mr. Clarke, from Select Committee, reported favorably a
bill entitled a supplement to an Act, entitled, an Act, to in-
corporate the Charles street Avenue Company, passed Janu-
ary session, 1864;

Also, a bill entitled an Act, to amend an Act, entitled an
Act, to incorporate the Charles street Avenue Company;

Which were severally read a first time.

Mr. Welch, from Select Committee, reported favorably upon
the Senate bill, entitled an Act, to incorporate the Village of
the Head of Sassafras, in Kent county, by the name of Sas-
safras ;

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Linthicum, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
a bill entitled an Act, to authorize the President and Direc-
tors of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Company, to grant a
water right to Charles F. Wenner, at or near Berlin, in Fred-
erick county.

Mr. Parsons, from Select Committee, reported favorably, a
bill entitled an Act, to repeal section 8 of Article 30 of the Code
of Public General Laws, entitled "crimes and punishments,"
and to re-enact the same, extending the provisions of said sec-
tion to Somerset county.

Mr. Williams, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
a bill entitled an Act to change the name of George Case Pe-
terson, to Gerge Peterson;

Which were severally read a first time.
On motion of Mr. Neilson,

The report of the Committee on the Western Boundary,

Was referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

The resolutions submitted by Mr. Evans, being upon their
second reading;

On motion of Mr. Carmichael,

Were informally postponed.
