On motion of Mr. Cameron,
Leave was granted the Baltimore county delegation to in-
troduce a bill to appoint trustees for the Parkton Presbeteryan
Church of Baltimore county.
On motion of Mr. Knott,
Leave was granted for the Judiciary Committee to report a
bill entitled, an Act to amend Article 75, of the Code of the
Public General Laws, relating to pleadings, practice and pro-
cess, by adding additional sections thereto.
Also, Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled, an Act to create a Board
of Commissioners to keep open the Harbor of Baltimore and
the access thereto from obstruction by ice, and for River and
Harbor relief.
Also, leave was granted the Allegany county delegation
to introduce a bill entitled, an Act to authorize the Commis-
sioner of the Land Office to make such corrections in the cour-
ses or outlines of the tract of land in Allegany county, called
"Republic," both in the original certificate of survey, and in
the patent thereof, as shall make the same correspond with
the original plat thereof on file in said office.
On motion of Mr. Clarke,
Leave was granted the Committee on Claims to report a bill
for compensating Locknecker and Connor and W. H. Rieley,
for printing laws of the State.
On motion of Mr. Carmichael,
Leave was granted the Committee on Judiciary to report a,
bill entitled, an Act to repeal the 29th section of Article 5,
of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to appeal, and
to re-enact the same with an amendment.
On motion of Mr. Knott.
Leave was granted the Committee Corporations to introduce
a bill entitled, an Act to remodle the charter of the Union
Orphans Asylum of Baltimore city.
On motion of Mr. Welch,
Leave was granted the Kent and Cecil county delegation
to report a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Sassafras
River Steamboat Company.
On motion of Mr. Flaherty,
Leave was granted the Baltimore city delegations to
introduce a bill to repeal section 957, chapter 29, of the Act
of 1862, entitled Parks,
