On motion of Mr. Kraft,
Leave was granted the Committee on Claims, to intro-
duce a bill entitled, an Act to authorize the payment of
bounty to Wm. Wecker.
On motion of Mr. Smith,
Leave was granted the Committee on the Judiciary to re-
port a bill repealing the 20th, section of Article 11 of the
Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, entitled, "attor-
neys at Law and Attorneys in tact," under the sub title of
"State's Attorneys,' and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.
Also, leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill to repeal chapter 69 of the Act of June 20,
1861, entitled "process."
Also, leave granted that the Committee on the Judiciary
have authority to introduce a bill repealing section 17 of Ar-
ticle 53 of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland,
entitled "Landlord and Tenant," and re-enact the same with
amendments, under the sub-title of ''Distress for rent."
Also, leave was granted that the Committee on Ways and
Means be authorized to introduce a bill to repeal sections
880 and 881 of Article 41 of the Public Local Laws of the
City of Baltimore, entitled, "Taxes and Loans," also the Act
of August 7th of 1861, chapter 94 of the Laws of Maryland.
On motion of Mr. Stevens,
Leave was granted the Committee on Education to report a
bill entitled, an Act to empower the faculty of Baltimore City
College to confer Literary Degrees.
Also, leave was granted the Committee on the Judiciary, to
report a bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 49 of Article
30 of Public General Laws relating to embezzlements, and
to re-enact the same with amendments.

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal that Dr. Joshua
Wilson is absent from his seat on account of sickness;
On motion of Mr. Israel,
Leave was granted the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled, an Act authorizing the bequests of
Catharine Seip, late of Baltimore city, to the Second German
Evangelical Lutheran Church of the city of Baltimore.
On motion of Mr. Neilson,
Leave was granted to a Select Committee to report an Act
to appropriate a sum of money sufficient to procure a full
