Mr. Magraw, from the Committee on Corporations reported
favorably, a bill entitled An Act, to amend an Act, entitled
an Act to incorporate a company for the purpose of cutting
and making a canal between the River Delaware and the
Chesapeake Bay, passed at November session, 1799, chapter
16; and also to amend a supplement thereto passed at Decem-
ber session, 1835, chapter 379;

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Appleman moved to have the bill printed ;

Which was decided in the negative.
