On motion of Mr. Magruder,

Leave was granted the Committee on the Judiciary, tc in-
troduce a bill to repeal section 2nd of Article 82, of the Code
of Public General Laws, relating to riots, and to enact a sec-
tion in lieu thereof.

On motion of Mr. Smith,

Leave was granted the Committee on the Judiciary, to in-
troduce a bill adding additional sections to Article 93, bf the
Code of Public General Laws entitled "Testamentary Law,"
to be inserted after section 226 of said Article.
On motion of Mr. Dennis,

Leave was granted the Somerset county delegation, to in-
troduce a bill to allow the Commissioners of Somerset county
to subscribe or levy a sum of money, for a ferry across the
Pocomoke River at the town of Rehoboth.
On motion of Mr. Knott,

Leave was granted the Committee on the Judiciary, to re-
port a bill entitled, an Act to amend Article ten, (10) of the
Code of Public General Laws, entitled, "Attachments," by
repealing section 38 of said Article, and re-enacting the same
with amendments.

The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following Senate
bill:

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate Blenheim Lodge, No.
102, of the Independent order of Odd Fellows, in Harford
county;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Corpo-
rations.

Mr. Carmichael, from the Committee on the Judiciary to
whom was referred the petition of the Rev, W. F. Colliflower
and nine other members of Mount Zion Church in Fredrick
county."

Report unfavorably thereon, because the relief prayed may
be had by resort to the Equity Jurisdiction of the Circuit
Court for Frederick county.

Also, unfavorably the petition of the Tunker Society, pray-
ing to be exempted from serving as jurors;
Which reports were adopted.
