and to vest the same in the surviving children and grand
-children of Titus Davy, a person of color, late of said county,
deceased;

Was read the first time.

Also, favorably the Senate bill entitled an Act, to confirm
the proceedings of Commissioners appointed by Worcester
County Court, to divide the real estate of Wheatley Dennis,
late of Worcester county, deceased;

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Knott, from the Committee on Internal Improvements,
reported favorably the bill entitled an Act to secure the com-
pletion of the Wicomico and Poco moke Rail Road; -

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Nicolai from the Committee on Corporations, reported
favorably the following bills :

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Marine Railway
& Manufacturing Company of Havre DeGrace.

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate Corsica Lodge No.
118, ancient Free and Accepted Masons.

A bill untitled an Act to extend and continue in force the
charter of the Manchester Savings Institution.

An Act authorising the Trustees of the "Second Univer-
salist Society" of the city of Baltimore, to sell a lot therein
mentioned;

Which were severally read the first time.

Mr. Carmichael, from the Committee on the Judiciary, re-
ported unlavorably a bill entitled an Act to allow Robert H.
Boteler to have a certain Deed recorded in the Clerk's office
of Washington county.

On motion of Mr. Carmichael,

The enacting clause was striken ont.

Mr. Criswell, from a Select Committee, reported favorably
the Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the county Com-
missioners of Carroll county to levy a sufficient sum of money
upon the assessable property of said county, to pay the costs
in the case of the State against Harriet and Marianna Por-
ter,

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Lindsey from a Select Committee, reported favorably
a bill entitled at Act to incorportate Cecil Lodge No. 120, of An-
cient Free and Accepted Massrs, of Chesapeake city, in Ce-
cil county;

Which was read the first time.

The bill entitled an Act to provide for calling a Conven-
