owners or masters commanding, what disposition has been
made of said money, and generally all transactions occurring
under the provisions of the law relating to foreign passengers.

Mr. Stevens submitted the following order :

Ordered, That ten thousand copies of the report of the
State Superintendent of Pnblic Instruction, and five tnousand
copies of the report of the Commissioner of Immigration, and
five thousand also thereof in German, to be translated by
Frederick Raine, to be printed;

Which, on motion of Mr. Clarke, was laid on the table.
On motion of Mr. Bixler,

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal of the House,
that had Mr. Bixler, of Baltimore city, have been present at
the time the vote was taken on the resolutions endorsing the
policy of President Johnson and Governor Swanu, he would
have voted in the affirmative.

On motion of Mr. Stevens,

Ordered, That the Librarian be directed to furnish the
clerks of this House with the same extra stationery a& fur-
nished to the members.

On motion of Mr. Parsons,

Ordered, That it be entered upon the Journal, that if Mr.
Parsons had been present yesterday he would have voted
"aye" upon the resolutions as amended, relating to Presi-
dent Johnson and Governor Swann.

Mr. Neilson submitted the following order :

Ordered, That six thousand copies of the documents ac-
companying the GoTernor's Message, be printed in the Eng-
lish language, and four thousand in the German, the trans-
lation of the latter to be made by Frederick Raine, Esq., of
Baltimore.

Mr. Clarke moved to lay said order on the table.

The question being on the adoption of the order,

Mr. Boswell demanded the yeas and nays,

The demand being sustained,
