bill for the relief of John B. Boyle, of Carroll county, from the
effects of a suretyship for Philip Drum., of the city of New
Orleans.

On motion of Mr. Knott,

Leave was granted Committee on Corporations to report a
bill to incorporate the Maryland Fertilizing and Manufactur-
ing Company of Baltimore city.

Also leave was granted Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill to incorporate "The Franklin Fire and Marine
Insurance Company of Baltimore city."

On motion of Mr. Lankford,

Leave was granted Committee on Expiring Laws to report
a bill to continue in full force an Act to regulate and make
uniform the fees of constables, passed January session, 1865,
chapter 67.

Also to the same Committee a bill to continue in force, an
Act to regulate and make uniform the fees of the Justices of
the Peace, passed January session, 1865, chapter 79.
On motion of Mr. Baker,

Leave was granted the Frederick county delegation, to re-
port a bill authorizing the School Commissioners of Freder-
ick county, to pay Jonas Urner and the executors of Nich-
olas Norris, a certain sum of money advanced by said Jonas
Urner and Nicholas Norris, as trustees of Primary School,
District 53, in said county.

On motion of Mr. Hoffhine,

Leave was granted Washington county delegation to re-
port a bill for the protection of persons known as "hucksters"
in Washington County, by a license law.

On motion of Mr. Steiuer,

Leave was granted the Committee on Claims to report a bill
to refund a sum of money to John Need of Frederick, Md.
paid by him erroneously on, billiard table license.

On motion of Mr. Clarke,

Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to report
a bill to incorporate the Contractors association.

Also by the same Committee a bill to incorporate the
Maryland Industrial Insurance Company of Baltimore city.

On motion of Mr. Nicolai,

Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to re-
port a bill to incorporate the Maryland American Industrial
Agency, of Baltimore city.
On motion of Mr. Smith,

Leave was granted the Committee on Claims to introduce
a bill for the relief of James W. Blackburn, late Chief Clerk
