to pay R. A. Clarke and James H. Alvey, tax collectors, of
St. Mary's county, for over-payment into the Treasury;
Which was read the first time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings, reported favorably, a bill entitled, an Act to add addition-
al section to Article 81, of Public General Laws, entitled, tax
on commissions of trustees and receivers;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Vickerg, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably, a bill entitled, an Act to repeal sections
106, 107, 108 and 109, of Article 81, of the Code of Public
General Laws, entitled, revenue and taxes, and relating to
tax on Executors' and Administrators' commissions;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Finance, reported a
bill entitled, an Act to compensate such members and officers
of the General Assembly of Maryland, held in the year 1861,
as have presented their claims;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Henkle moved a suspension of the rules to give the
bill a second reading by special order,
