Which was read, assented to and sent to the Senate.
Mr. Neilson from a Select Committee, reported favorably a
bill entitled, an Act to repeal the 4th, 7th, 15th, 16th and
20th sections of the 4th Article of the Code of Public Lo-
cal Laws of Baltimore city, relative to the qualifications of
elections in said city, and regulating the time for holding
elections for Mayor and members of the City Council, and
the terms of and the times for entering upon the duties of
said office, and to re-enact the same with amendments.
Which was read the first time, and ordered to be printed.
The bill entitled, an Act to restore to full citizenship and
the right to vote and hold office, all persons who may be de-
prived thereof by the provisions contained in the 4th section
of the 1st Article of the Constitution of the State.
Was taken up for consideration on its second reading.
Mr. Thomas moved to make said bill the order of the day
for to-morrow at 1 o'clock.
Mr. Buhrman moved to strikeout the words "to-morrow,"
and insert "Friday," and demanded the yeas and nays.
