On motion of Mr. Vickers, it was

Ordered, That the Librarian be requested to furnish the
Members and Officers of the Senate with the same articles of
Stationery that were furnished at the last session.

The President laid before the Senate, the following commu-
nication from the State Treasurer :

ANNAPOLIS, January, 1867.
The Honorable, the President of the Senate :

SIR: In obedience to the 4th section of Article 6 of the Con-
stitution, I have the honor herewith to submit to you true
copies of the accounts rendered to, and settled with the Comp-
trollei of the Treasury, from the first day of October, 1864, to
the 30th September, 1865, inclusive, and from the 1st day of
October, 1865, to the 30th of September, 1866, inclusive, all
of which I trust, upon examination, will be found satisfactory
and correct.

Treasurer of Maryland.

On motion of Mr. Stephenson,
It was referred to the Committee on Finance.

On motion of Mr. Ohr, it was

Ordered, That the Treasurer be requested to report to the
Senate, the amount of revenue received by the State on its in-
terest in the Baltimore and Ohio Rail Road and Branches,
for each of the last six years.

On motion of Mr. Vickers,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings
to report a bill to repeal the 19th section of the 24th Article
of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to the recording
of Deeds or Conveyances of Lands, and to re-enact the same
with amendments.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal so much of Section one
of the act of 1860, chapter 303, entitled, an Act to carry into
effect the eight section of the Act entitled an Act for the pro-
motion of Internal Improvements, passed December Session,
1835, chapter 395, as appropriates ($13,000) thirteen thou-
sand dollars to the Choptank and Mispillion Rail Road Com-
