On motion of Mr. Henkle,
The vote on the passage of the bill entitled, an Act for the
relief of the Grand Lodge of Ancient, Free and Accepted Ma-
sons of Maryland, was re-considered.
Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, to whom was
referred the bill entitled, an Act appropriating a sum of
money to pay Daniel R. Magruder, Circuit Judge, for arrears
of salary due him, and for costs in the Circuit Court for Anne
Arundel county, and in the Court of Appeals;
Reported it without amendment,
The bill was then read a second time.
Mr. Bowie, from the Select Committee, reported a bill en-
titled, an Act requiring the County Commissioners of Prince
George's county, to construct a bridge across the Eastern
Branch, at Bladensburg, on the turnpike leading to Wash-
ington, and authorizing them to levy a sum therefor ;
Which was read the first time.
Mr. Kimmell, from the Select Committee, reported a bill
entitled, an Act to authorize and require the Comptroller to
correct the errors in the distribution of the Free School Fund
from the year 1852 to the year 1866, and to pay to Baltimore
city and Baltimore county, the amounts of which they have
been deprived by said errors, and to make appropriation for
that purpose;
Which was read the first time.
Mr. Stephenson, from the Select Committee, reported back
to the Senate, the bill entitled, an Act to protect fish and
wild fowl in the waters of Romney Creek, in Harford county.
