On motion of Mr. Spates,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Spates, Young and Davis, of
Washington, to introduce a bill authorizing and reqiiiring the
Commissioners of Allegany county, to levy a sum of money
for the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Allegany county to pay
for certain dockets furnished by him for said county.
On motion of Mr. Bowie,
Leave was granted to Committee on Agriculture to intro-
duce a bill to incorporate the Maryland State Agricultural
and Mechanical Association.
On motion of Mr. Philpot,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill entitled an Act, to repeal sections 68
and 76, of Article 26 of the Code of Public General Laws of
this State, entitled corporations, and re-enact the same with
amendments.
On motion of Mr. Vickers,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to report a bill to repeal section 99 of Article 30, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title crimes and punishments,
sub-title larceny, and to re-enact the same with an amend-
ment.
On motion of Mr. Vickers,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to report a bill to repeal section 34 of Article 30 of the
Code of Public General Laws, title crimes and punishments,
sub-title counterfeiting and forgery, and relating to inspected
and uninspected tobacco, and to re-enact the same with an
amendment.
On motion of Mr. Bowie,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Bowie, Young and Tome, to
introduce a bill authorizing and requiring the County Com-
missioners of Prince George's county to construct a bridge
over the eastern branch of the Potomac River, at Bladens-
burg, and to levy a sum of money therefor.
On motion of Mr. Vickers,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to report a bill entitled, an Act to repeal section ninety-
two of Article thirty of the Code of Public General Laws title
"crimes and punishments," sub-title "kidnapping."

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to report a bill to repeal section eighty-seven of Article
