Mr. Stephenson presented the memorial of Robert McGaw
and twelve others, in favor of the Harford and Cecil county
Boom Company;

Which was read and referred to the committee already
raised upon that subject.

Mr. Stephenson presented the petition'of A. J. Street and one
hundred and ninety-five others, in favor of the Harford and
Cecil county Boom bill;

Which was read and referred to the committee already
raised upon that subject.

Mr. Stepenson presented the petition of Ignatius Rutledge
and 84 others, in favor of the Harford and Cecil county Boom
bill;

Which was read and referred to the committee already
raised on that subject.

Mr. Earle presented the memorial of Martin Shultz, a
soldier of the war of 1812 ;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Fi-
nance.

Mr. Stephenson presented the memorial of two hundred
and twelve citizens of the town of Havre-de-Grace, remon-
strating against the erection of any Boom or Booms below the
railroad bridge at said town ;

Which was read and referred to the committee already
raised on that subject.

Mr. Earle presented the Charter of the Academy of
Sciences;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Finance.

Mr. Earle presented the claims of members and officers of
the General Assembly of Maryland, of the extra session at
Frederick city;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Finance.

Mr. Vickers presented the petition of D. V. Hammond and
others, of Frederick county, to authorize a conveyance of cer-
tain church property to the Methodist Protestant Church in
Frederick county;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings.

Mr. Vickers presented the petition of James C. Mann and
83, others, citizens of Kent county, for a law to levy a tax in
Kent county, to aid in the construction of the Kent county
Rail Road;

Which was read and referred to Messrs. Vickers, Earle and
Mackall.
