Which was read and referred to the Committee on Internal
Improvements.

Mr. Bowie presented the memorial of Alford Mace, John
W. Randolph, Augustus. ,M. Price, W. Thomson, James T.
Maccubbin and 40 citizens of Baltimore city, praying the Gen-
eral Assembly to reject the memorial of the President and
Directors of the Baltimore and Ohio Rail Road Company, and
all amendments to the charter of the Baltimore and Potomac
Rail Road Company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Internal
Improvements.

Mr. Bowie presented the memorial of J. Berry and twenty-
five other citizens of Maryland, praying the General Assem-
bly that "governed by a sense of justice to Southern Mary-
land, and a consideration for the deep interests which are in-
volved, no modification or amendment may be made in the
charter of the Baltimore and Potomac Rail Road Company;"

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Internal
Improvements.

Mr. Compton presented the memorial of Jas. M. Parker,
Samuel C. Robey and others, asking that no amendment or
modification may be made in the charter of the Baltimore and
Potomac Rail Road Company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Internal
Improvements.

Mr. Tome presented the petition of Wm. Lee Amos and
forty-seven others, in favor of the Harford and Cecil County
Boom bill;

Which was read and referred to the committee already
raised upon that subject.

Mr. Stephenson presented the memorial of Sam'l L. Bear-
lin and eighty-one other citizens of Cecil county, protesting
against the passage of the Boom bill, now pending before the
Legislature;

Which was read and referred to the committee 'already
raised on that subject.

Mr. Davis, of Caroline, presented the petition of James E.
Douglass and others, asking an Act to pay for building a
school house in the 3d Election District of Caroline county by
the voters of said school district;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Educa-
tion.

Mr. Stephenson presented the memorial of Jacob Gladden
and one hundred and fifty-nine others, in favor of the Har-
ford and Cecil county Boom bill;

Which was read and referred to the committee already
raised upon that subject.
