Mr. Mules presented the petition of citizens of Baltimore,
remonstrating against the repeal of the Sunday law;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings.

Mr. Earle presented the remonstrance of J. R Kelso, and
120 others, against legalizing Sabbath desecration;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings.

Mr. Earle presented the memorial of sundry citizens of Bal-
timore, in regard to the Sunday law;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings.

Mr. Davis, of Caroline, presented the petition of Henry
Mobray and 160 others, in the lower part of Caroline county,
asking an equitable division of a portion of the State fund ap-
propriated by former Legislatures, for Internal Improvements
on the Eastern Shore ;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Inter-
nal Improvements.

Mr. Tome presented the petition of William M. Ady and
191 others, in favor of the Harford and Cecil county Boom
Company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee already
raised on that subject.

Mr. Bowie presented the memorial and proceedings of a
county meeting of the citizens of Prince George's county, held
in Upper Marlboro', January 19, 1867, against any interfer-
ence with the charter of the Baltimore and Potomac Rail Road
Company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Internal
Improvements.

Mr. Bowie presented the memorial of Richard Wootton and
83 citizens of southern Maryland, praying the General Assem-
bly not to alter or amend the charter of the Baltimore and
Potomac Rail Road Company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Internal
Improvements.

Mr. Bowie presented the memorial of Rev. Harvey Stanley,
Dr. W. Seton Belt, and 60 citizens of Maryland, praying the
General Assembly that governed by a sense of justice to the
people of southern Maryland and a consideration of the deep
interests which are involved, no modification or amendment
may be made in the charter of the Baltimore and Potomac
Rail Road Company;
